Here at N Brown we have a fantastic opportunity for a data passionate Senior Data Analyst to join our impressive Logistics division. By using our vast data, the Senior Data Analyst will investigate and explore trends, identify any issues to action and, using your own initiative aim to improve the customer journey for our impressive customer base as well as enabling the management of a 1000 strong colleague team, fulfilling 34 million items to our customers around the world.

You will be a seasoned Analytics pro who will help to elevate our capability by identifying strategic data-driven opportunities and collaborate closely with relevant stakeholders around the business. You will be joining a world class team as a subject matter expert and this role of Senior Logistics Analyst is a key requirement for this success.

What else to expect as our Senior Data Analyst:

  • To provide timely and accurate weekly and monthly reports and monitoring of all key processes that affect the quality and efficiency of Logistics within N Brown  
  • Working with other business areas to support in reporting of KPI’s on a daily basis, using outputs to maintain and improve on service levels with an aim to measure business success and to drive improvements to the business
  • To actively review and understand trends in data, including contribution reporting, customer feedback metrics and operational efficiencies and using insight to challenge openly and fairly, business strategy decisions with senior management team, with goal of improving overall service and cost metrics.
  • To define and write new reports and data sets for Supply Chain areas as required/requested to aid analysis and monitoring or core processes.
  • To support in maintaining and developing new functionalities in existing MI/BI processes, as well as exploring new ways to deliver data to the end user (eg: PowerBI) with the goal or reducing reports, increasing self-serve MI and increasing call to action.
  • To train/upskill other members of MI team, and to support in day-to day management of the MI Team - sharing workload and ensuring priorities are correctly aligned to business strategy

What you need to succeed:

  • Previous experience as an Analyst and working with SQL
  • Strong data, problem solving and systems analysis skills.
  • Strong communicator at all levels, with ability to build relationships throughout the company and can inspire confidence with key stakeholders.
  • Experience with a commercial, customer service, logistic setting is not essential but would be ideal
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail
  • A professional, objective and unbiased attitude with an ability to influence change.
  • Commercial acumen and awareness as well as inquisitive about processes, and creative about solutions
