We are looking for a confident and organised Complaints Administrator, with excellent attention to detail. This is an entry level role and would suit someone with good basic administration skills who enjoys working in a process driven environment and understands the importance of meeting deadlines. Based within the Complaints Management Team. The Administrator supports the Advisors who deal with complaints, as such the work undertaken by this team is regulated and accuracy is essential.

Your role as Administrator within our Complaints team here at N Brown :

  • Sorting incoming postal claims into case types
  • Logging and confirming receipt of complaints from customers and 3rd parties, ensuring response is within FCA regulatory deadlines
  • Cross referencing data from internal and external sources
  • Processing refunds to customers accounts
  • Real time updating of the various departmental databases and case trackers
  • Tracking case deadlines and chasing for outstanding information to ensure FCA timelines are met
  • Escalating any potential delays to Manager
  • Handling basic telephony queries
  • Modifying letter templates to respond to basic queries
  • Accurate filing and storage of records
  • Assisting in the compilation and distribution of business reports
  • Occasional liaison with external bodies such as Claims Management Companies, to clarify the need for a Request for Information (RFI) or Subject Access Request (SAR)
