What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Work in line with the Digital strategy as defined by the Head of Digital Fit Innovation.
  • Support Block Developer to re-engineer block patterns and create style patterns.
  • Support Block Developer in maintaining an N Brown library of master blocks, assist in roll out to teams and implementation with Suppliers.
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating the Block Tech pack including size specification charts, physical samples for blocks.
  • In conjunction with Style developer and Product Innovator review and analyse block performance through specific product reviews, returns metrics and customer insight to continuously improve fit where possible.
  • Support Block Developer to evaluate Supplier for skill abilities, block adoption, lead times and quality of product achieved acting on issues and recommending improvements.
  • Support Fit Innovator in recruitment of Fit models and creation of customer centric fit forms.
  • Remain updated and knowledgeable of new digital software, technology, fit innovations, sizing data and apply accordingly to innovate fit and communication of sizing to customer
  • Communication – engage with the wider business team both internal and external to drive the Digital strategy.


What you will need to succeed:


  • Digital Pattern cutting skills with excellent competency in using 2D with 3D preferable
  • Pattern cutting expertise/knowledge in relevant product type – Tailoring, Jersey/Woven, Lingerie, Kidswear, menswear
  • Knowledge of Grading in both standard sizing and plus size
  • Excellent Fitting skills specific to relevant product.
  • Creative flair with a good appreciation of fashion/current trends/quality standards on product fit/styling/construction and innovation to product
  • Communication skills – verbal and written – ability to communicate via variety of media with different cultures/various levels of Stakeholders with professionalism, tact, diplomacy and integrity.
  • Relevant Product construction knowledge
  • Experience of dealing with a wide-ranging Supply base.
  • Knowledge of product testing, legislation and compliance relating to relevant product types.
  • Analytical skills – ability to interpret technical requirements to influence corrective actions
  • IT skills – competent in word, excel, powerpoint and relevant cad software for role.
