Here at N Brown we are looking for a Senior PPC Manager who will help drive forward our paid search strategy (text and shopping) We are searching for someone who can inject further creativity, technical experience and broad digital knowledge to take the channel to the next level!


To succeed in this role, you should have extensive and demonstrable experience in planning, buying & delivering paid search campaigns across Google and Bing, ideally gained from a fast-paced and/or retail business. You should be results orientated & commercially focused, comfortable crunching numbers to identify opportunities and focus on ROI.


As Senior PPC Manager you will demonstrate a deep understanding of Google Shopping to deliver the necessary innovation to grow this channel across the business as well as a solid understanding of automation and the use of data with paid search!


Your role leading the PPC team:


  1. Develop our paid search capability to help the business delivery profitable online. Focusing the 3 key pillars to paid search success: Feed Quality, Automation and Data
  2. Oversee the planning of our paid search activity including strategy, budgets, targets and optimisation in order to reach business objectives in conjunction with the Head of Performance Media.
  3. Manage implementation of activity, ensuring you, your team and agencies/partners deliver excellent results
  4. Evaluate success of activity against clear targets; analyse results and identify opportunities; feedback performance and actions taken to the Head of Performance Media and Marketing Heads.
  5. Holistic search engine marketing: working with the SEO team to test and learn the optimal paid and non-paid strategy
  6. Stakeholder management: keeping key stakeholders updated on strategy, optimisation, performance, innovation and industry developments and their impact on our business
  7. Create best practice methodologies to help us deliver a digital centre of excellence in the business
  8. Help create integrated digital campaigns by working with digital colleagues and other teams to find innovative ways to reach & communicate with our customers across channels & environments
  9. Thought leadership: be the eyes and ears of the business for paid search; keep up to date with developments in digital, spotting opportunities & assessing impact on our brands; keep colleagues up to date with developments.
  10. Line manage the PPC Manager; oversee their continued development and that of the wider PPC team. Provide structured and ad hoc training/mentoring as required.
  11. Manage external agencies & third parties: ensure high quality of work to deadline and budget; develop and maintain positive and strong business relationship
