As a Lead UX Designer, you’ll be given autonomy to lead the end-to-end experience on multiple projects and be encouraged to refine the methodologies used. As a design thinker, well versed in human centred design, you’ll be leading on transformational digital retail and financial services projects, alongside a growing, passionate and talented multi-disciplinary digital experience design team focused on creating the best digital experiences for our customers. Alongside project work, you’ll help define the UX function & process within the wider digital team and show how UX & HCD can have meaningful business impact.

Your role as Lead UX Designer:

  • As a lead contributing member of the team, you’ll be hands on in project work, involved in every stage of the digital experience design process with ownership and responsibility for the outcome.
  • You’ll provide hi fidelity UX designs across all digital assets (App, Mobile, Desktop) to drive a coherent UX and a seamless experience for customers across multiple brands
  • You’ll mentor, manage and coach other members of the experience design team.
  • Continual improvement of our existing UX toolkit & playbook (NBUX)
  • Shape and contribute to the digital design system, including helping to document UX research and insight to provide rationale for the teams’ design decisions.
  • Support the business on how to adopt a truly customer centric culture
