To support the increasing regulatory requirements of being fully authorised by the FCA, we are looking to strengthen our existing compliance function. This has created a suite of new roles including a Head of Compliance who will work within our financial services team to help inform and support our Board, Senior Managers and customer-facing staff in critical and material matters.

The ideal candidate should be engaged, adaptable and genuinely interested in the fundamentals of the JD Williams / N Brown business. Candidates should also enjoy interpreting and translating both high-level principles and complex regulatory requirements into workable policies and procedures, and then developing practical solutions to meet customers’ needs at the same time as those of the business.
The Role of Head of Compliance:
To ensure that J D Williams and all appropriate third parties are able to evidence that they meet regulatory standards for the sale and ongoing administration of their financial services products. To enable the J D Williams Board and other key stakeholders to consider and manage regulatory risks through providing advice and guidance on all FCA and other relevant regulatory requirements and guidelines that govern the company. Monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of internal systems and controls to regulatory rules and guidance
