Reporting into our newly appointed Head of Transactional Processing, our Control Reporting Manager will be responsible for the production and maintenance of all MI across Transactional Services with an aim to support the team’s development and process efficiencies.

The Control Reporting Manager plays a key role in supporting the transformation of the Finance operational teams and drive compliance across the business to improve our first-time match rates, payment to terms and cash collections.


What else you’ll be responsible for:

  • The delivery, and on-going production, of high-quality management information dashboards covering business compliance and collation of reporting for the senior management team
  • Creation and ongoing maintenance of Skills Matrix and standard operating procedures (SOP’s)
  • Analysing and interpreting data from various sources to collate reports as well as provide insight for the Finance department
  • Creation of statement reconciliation calendar to ensure all supplier accounts are reconciled on yearly basis
  • Create and implement documentation of processes within the Transactional teams and drive standardisation and consistency across the business
  • Implement Process Controls and efficiencies by maintaining a continuous improvement plan for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Support ERP upgrade and provide recommendations for business improvements
  • Training of Transactional teams across the business
  • Leading and mentoring a team


What we need from you:

  • A proactive and process driven finance expert with the ability to bring people, process and systems together
  • Previous experience within a similar role within a Financial Shared Services background
  • Stakeholder management experience
  • Advanced experience of Microsoft Office applications
  • The ability to communicate complex financial information in a concise non-technical manner
  • The ability to understand the key drivers and issues behind the reported outputs
  • Knowledge of how data is used within a Financial Organisation, both operationally and for reporting and analysis
