We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Modelling and Forecasting Analyst to join our Decision Science team to help enhance decision making and ultimately deliver profitable growth. This role would suite a data driven individual with a passion for analysis and interest in data science!

Reporting to Amro our Head of Decision Science, your aim will be to design, implement, and provide ongoing review of a cohort-based forecasting model. This will support the data science team delivering key predictive analysis projects in our business.

Your role as Forecasting Analyst:

  1. Provide the data analysis and data processing required to build data models
  2. Assist in building clusters and segmentation analysis of data features used within our data lake.
  3. Perform daily data wrangling tasks and create the required reports and documentation.
  4. Assist in creating and implementing predictive and forecasting models.
  5. Collaborate effectively across the team to ensure all aspects were considered and been quantified and incorporated within the forecasting model.
  6. Conduct scenario analysis to understand potential impact of strategy changes to the profitability of the business.
  7. Proactively recommend and implement updates to the implemented models
  8. Champion data quality and integrity, highlighting data quality issues and suggesting appropriate solutions

 

We are looking for a data forecasting analyst who can demonstrate the ability to articulate key messages and analysis outcomes clearly and concisely with a pragmatic and analytical mind working cross functionally across the business.

We are looking for advanced experience with Excel, SQL, SAS or other statistical packages. In addition to knowledge of statistical modelling including Bayesian Inference, Time Series and Forecasting algorithms.
