We are on the lookout for a Junior Credit Risk Analyst to join our Financial Services department here at N Brown.
About the role:
This exciting opportunity is based within one of the most fast paced and passionate departments within N Brown- based within the Lending team, as our Junior Commercial Data Analyst, you will work as part of the team to drive long-term, sustainable profit from our Financial Service offer whilst balancing commercial risk and minimise potential customer detriment.
Key Responsibilities in your role as our Credit Risk Analyst:
- Working alongside the Lending Manager and wider team, to develop customer lending strategies for UK and International operations
- Provide key analytical support in the development of customer level scoring models to support the risk assessment of our credit applicants across all credit products.
- Create and undertake analysis to monitor the groups lending strategies are delivering as expected and where they are not highlight to management.
- Test and implement the agreed lending strategies into Powercurve
- Undertake in depth customer behaviour analytics and make recommendations to develop and improve lending policies and processes.
This is an idea opportunity for a recent Graduate or someone from an analytical background as you will be working within a team with a broad and diverse range of experience to learn and take guidance from.
What we need from you:
To succeed in this role, you should be analytical with the ability to spot data trends/anomalies and turn data into insight. You should be commercially aware and be able to add value to the business by making recommendations based on information and analysis. You should also have experience of statistical packages/techniques along with SAS and/or SQL.
