Here at N Brown, we have an exciting opportunity to join us as Director of Trading and Ecommerce! Reporting to our Chief Product and Trading Officer you are responsible for leading the 4 brand squads and the sales and profit for each, leading and driving each cross functional team, to deliver the agreed objectives for each brand!

You will be responsible for the development and implementation of our ecommerce & CRM strategy, leading your trading teams to execute and fine-tune the commercial and customer performance, to deliver the commercial results the business needs to hit the overarching organisational goals.

Your role as The Director of Trading & Ecommerce will include:

  • Leading the cross functional trading squads combining a core team with support from UX, insight, brand marketing & creative, product and FS to deliver the sales and profit within each brand. Both from a planning perspective interpreting the brand direction and customer insight into tangible future improvements and for the day to day trading of the brands.
  • Leading the core ecommerce team to deliver site and CRM goals both strategically and day to day.
  • Delivery of the core trading metrics such as traffic performance, conversion, customer performance, channel KPIs, website and trading KPIs and overall performance by brand.
  • Own the seasonal trading plan for each brand based on core brand principles and customer insight to deliver the sales, customer recruitment and engagement and profit requirements by brand.
  • Responsible for each channel’s development, content and execution across the sites and email communication.
  • Lead key strategic projects for the business for example CRM optimisation, next best messaging, site personalisation and visual merchandising, delivering £££ benefits across online sales growth and marketing spend optimisation.
  • Campaign management across CRM channels and sites introducing audience targeting to further engage and optimise our customer marketing.
  • Promotional management ensuring we trade efficiently and in a way that engages our customers optimising the spend and leading how we balance this with merchandise promotions to maximise customer engagement.
  • Creating with the FS trading team marketable FS propositions and customer journeys that ensure we convert customers from cash to credit in an engaging way.
  • Develop & deliver a VIP programme for our most profitable customers and to encourage more into this decile.
  • Working with brand marketing ensure our overall media spend is optimised by channel and brand introducing attribution and CLV to enhance this.
