We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Head of Communications and Colleague Experience to join the People team here at N Brown!

Reporting to our Director of Colleague Experience, your role will be to engage with the leadership teams across the business! You’ll become the ‘go to’ person and first point of contact for internal communications with responsibility for developing an agreed strategy for internal communications across the Group, whilst defining the BAU plan to deliver that strategy.

We are looking for someone with oodles of confidence and experience of working with a c-suite and senior leadership team.  You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to build credibility through delivery, operating in a fast paced multi-disciplined, commercial environment.

You'll have the expertise to engage and influence senior leaders with your strategy combined with an innovative and creative approach to developing communication channels across the business.

Your role as Head of Communications and Colleague Experience here at N Brown

  • Advise the c-suite and senior leadership team on sensitive and complex internal communications challenges, including crisis communications issues;
  • Work closely with the Director of Colleague Experience to define our strategic approach to colleague communications and experience;
  • Maintain current BAU activities for Internal Communications & Colleague Experience ensuring little or no disruption for stakeholders, while you define the way forward and implement any changes;
  • Manage budgets in respect of your areas of responsibility;
  • Organise and record both quantitative and qualitative analysis through relevant tools and focus groups.
  • Create simple communication channels and integrate them in the organisation.
  • Create a variety of events and initiatives that motivate and engage employees thought-out the employee lifecycle.
  • Create a calendar of events that inspire and enable employees to bring their best selves to work every day.
