We are looking for an experienced Senior Buyer with strong numerical and analytical skills to join our Menswear team. You will be collaborating across teams, particularly merchandising therefore great communication skills are essential. You will have fantastic leadership skills to ensure your team is well looked after and demonstrate a real enthusiasm and commitment to the success of your team!

 

What you’ll be responsible for Senior Buyer:

 

  • To lead the product, sourcing & brand strategy.
  • To lead and implement product category strategies and to maximise performance & KPI’s across multiple product areas.
  • To drive and implement clear fashion trends to ensure exciting and commercial ranges are created across the appropriate customer group.
  • Achieve a bought-in margin (BIM) that supports market competitive prices, sales targets and a good, better, best range that is in line with competition that achieves the Dept BIM.
  • To innovate & implement in terms of product opportunity, range and attributes through strategic thinking.
  • Input into the development of the Supplier strategy for your departments.
  • To regularly seek out and meet new Suppliers to understand the Global Market, and act upon the opportunities within.
  • Take ownership of Omni Channel Trading across all customer facia’s.
  • To strategically plan to react and trade to sales on volume lines by working closely with the Merchandising teams.
