Partnerships Operation Manager

As Partnerships Operation Manager you will build and maintain profitable strategic partnerships with key retail businesses. You will project manage plans and build relationships with all key internal business touch points including IT, Supply Chain, Logistics Operations, legal, Finance, Procurement & Product Teams. You will also be responsible for the delivery of the Partnerships operational strategy, annual business plans & budgets, including the effective management of all existing/new partnership operational processes. Finally you will drive change through a continuous improvement culture.

What you’ll be responsible for as Partnerships Operation Manager:

  • Develop, implement, align & lead the partnership operational strategy to overarching business goals, by accurate planning and decision-making so that the strategy is customer led and delivers financial targets and future ambitions.
  • Develop and maintain an excellent understanding of all key partner requirements and on-going changes to ensure that their needs are being met and that their business is retained and grown.
  • Define what is needed to effectively set up a good strong partnership from an operational building blocks perspective.
  • To bench mark all processes and implement new ideas, technology and systems to ensure the partnerships operation is efficient and flexible to meet our partner demands.
  • Be organised and able to articulate a clear project summary and critical path on request, as well as excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Responsible for delivering the operational annual budget, and the raising of all financial requisitions in fusion financials, ensuring all financial data is correctly logged and monitored.
  • Responsible for the negotiation of partner legal contracts, liaising with both internal and external legal teams to get contracts over the line whilst ensuring our business is protected and penalties are minimised.
  • Responsible for ensuring all delivery data is passed to the finance teams, which is then used to invoice our partners for the stock they have received under the agreed financial terms.
  • Responsible for managing the 3rd party refurbishment business we utilize, ensuring SLA’s are adhered to and stock is partner compliant, forecasts are provided and that stock management data from an audit perspective is provided as and when requested.
  • To actively support the company values program throughout the Partnership Team.
  • Any other duties required by the line manager that are appropriate with the post, grade and level of responsibility of this role, for which the role holder has the necessary experience and/or training.

What you will need to succeed as Partnerships Operation Manager:

  • Graduate or similar educational experience or 3+ years’ proven experience in an Operations Management position
