The Role and responsibilities

We are looking for two people to join our Logistics Operations team as Project Support within our Logistics department and they will be at the very heart of the team! It would be desirable for both to have a full, clean driving license's as they may be required to work across two of our sites in Shaw and Hadfield. They will:

  • Learn about the team’s business plans and, with the guidance from the Operation’s Managers, complete administrative tasks that will help achieve a variety of projects and improvements.
  • Support the Operational Leadership team with health and safety tasks and activities, playing an important role in helping keep our employees safe.
  • Assist on engagement activities that will motivate and recognise our warehouse employees for doing a great job.
  • Promote our values and behaviours and support the Operational Leadership team with activities that encourage a great work environment.

What are we looking for?

Do you have an interest in the world of Logistics? Do you like getting involved in different projects and are you curious to learn how warehouses' operate in a business? If so, then this could be the role for you. 

  • We’d love someone with a “can-do”, positive attitude that likes to work in a team and build relationships.
  • We're looking for someone that enjoys communicating with others, both written and verbally. 
  • Basic computer skills and an understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint will be needed. 
  • It would be desirable for you to have a background in Operations however it is not essential.
