Here at N Brown Group, we have an extremely exciting opportunity for an experienced Compliance Manager to join our growing compliance team within our innovative financial services division. As Compliance Manager, you will…

Reporting to the Head of Compliance:

  • Support the Financial Services business as a collaborative partner to advise on regulatory requirements
  • Conduct regulatory change impact assessments, horizon scanning and gap analyses
  • Promote and drive embedding of a compliance culture
  • Devising and implementing a second line Conduct Risk dashboard including a Compliance issues register
  • Offering regulatory advice and insight to stakeholders as required, including the Compliance Monitoring Team and ongoing projects
  • Supporting the Head of Compliance in drafting any documentation for internal and external reporting in-cluding Reg Data
  • Managing the Compliance-owned SMCR activities
  • Reviewing and approve financial promotions or other customer communications as required
  • Designing a policy adherence action plan
  • Working closely with Risk to support an integrated advice model, including support on RCSA
  • Offering second line oversight to the implementation and embedding of the Training and Competence scheme.

What We are Looking For:

  • An experienced Compliance Policy and Advice professional, preferably within a Consumer Credit environment
  • Able to assess data sets and draw logical conclusions and make recommendations
  • Strong knowledge of the FCA Handbook, especially CONC, DISP and SYSC
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills including at Senior levels
  • Previous experience of Gabriel/Reg Data reporting
  • Able to produce insightful, high-quality and action-driven written outputs for sharing with stakeholders
  • Experience of direct interaction with the FCA
  • Organised and efficient, able to prioritise tasks and flex according to business requirements
  • Professionally qualified (e.g. ICA Diploma).
