The Emerging Social Platforms and Influencer Lead will focus on new/untapped social media platforms and influencer activity.  Their objective is to increase reach, engagement and social-revenues through best-in-class product & brand storytelling. 


Responsibilities and Accountabilities:


  • To ensure our brands are creatively represented, in line with brand strategy and identified archetypes, across new and emerging social platforms (eg Tiktok) and underutilised digital platforms (eg Youtube)
  • To support the Social Media Lead in articulation of the social media strategy – optimising activity across all platforms, driving synergies and a holistic approach
  • To support the Influencer Lead to create relevant and platform specific influencer activity which drives brand engagement, social followship and sales
  • To work with colleagues across the business to ensure plans are aligned and customers are engaged, meeting relevant KPIs and communication objectives.
  • To work with the wider Brand Marketing Team and Creative Department in the efficient creation of world-class assets that can be used across all channels
  • To proactively identify emerging trends in social media and relevant influencers to work with
  • To manage relationships with influencers to ensure the best possible results are achieved, on time, to brief (including assets capture guidelines) and to budget
  • To collaborate with the Buying teams to create ideal product nominations to contribute to the growth of our brands
  • To create campaign reports detailing the success of activity and proposals for new ideas and funding

  • Experience within a social media, digital-PR or content-creation role at a similar level, either in-house or in an agency.
  • Experience of using various social platforms and knowledge of the media, executing against objectives.
  • Specific ability around planning and project management of campaigns, leading meetings and budget management.
  • Experience of running influencer marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Impeccable writing skills and an eye for detail.
  • Strong sense of teamwork.
  • Ability to act with initiative, committed to proposing solutions at every turn to get the job done.
  • Experience of developing new approaches in social and PR channels.
  • A self-starter who is eager to keep learning and bringing new ideas
