The Role

At N Brown, we have an exciting opportunity to join our fast-growing Digital Marketing team. We are looking for an experienced SEO Product Manager to work with the SEO and Digital Technology team to ensure that all new web functionality is delivered with SEO in mind. You will act as a key point of contact between the SEO and digital product teams to help reduce any tech debt and drive performance across our core brands.

What you’ll be responsible for as a SEO Product Manager:

  •  Create and communicate the technical SEO product vision & mission to support the wider SEO strategy
  • Set and monitor North Star metrics and OKRs to improve SEO performance
  • Gather tech SEO requirements from stakeholders
  • Ensure where needed that broader digital marketing issues are resolved
  • Audit N Brown’s websites and use a data-driven approach to identifying potential enhancements
  • Balance SEO requirements with customer needs
  • Own, manage and prioritise the Tech SEO roadmap to move our platforms to ‘best-in-class’ functionality
  • Collaborate with other Product tribes in the delivery of experiences that both enhance Users and Search Engines
  • Contribute to the wider Product roadmap & uncover dependencies
  • Integrate ‘SEO thinking as standard’ into the development cycle of all tribes
  • Be a marketing channel “safety net” by contributing to the ‘new ideas’ process
  • Own technical SEO testing - develop and execute SEO testing
  • Establish the critical path for new platform delivery
  • Contribute to the migration strategy & planning for new platforms
  • Contribute to the delivery activities for replatforming
  • Research future SEO trends and ensure that stakeholders have an awareness of the predicted future direction of travel for search engines
  • Provide detailed analysis and insights of the impacts of core, and other, search engine algorithm updates
  • Track best practice and identify tooling to increase technical SEO efficiency
  • Communicate and report on performance of technical SEO to key stakeholders
  • Evangelise technical SEO to the business
  • Identify non-dev quick wins, workarounds and opportunities to pay down tech debt.
  • Support the SEO team in their activities. 
  • Contribute to a high-performance culture.
  • Demonstrate a high-level of SEO competence 
  • Foster an Agile and collaborate approach to problem solving
  • Deliver SEO functionality to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the SEO team

What we are looking for:

  • Experience as a SEO Product Manager or similar.
  • Knowledge & experience of managing technical SEO projects.
  • Experience of managing SEO on e-commerce websites is critical.
  • Excellent understanding in eCommerce technology – including but not limited to faceted navigations.
  • Knowledge of SEO development best practice standards, HTML/CSS & how JavaScript impacts technical SEO.
  • Can complete hands on SEO analysis using a variety of measurement tools, including: SEM Rush, Google Analytics, Search Console, A Hrefs, Deepcrawl, Screaming Frog.
  • Commercially focused & results driven.

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Is very proactive and can work using their own initiative
