About the role:

Here at N Brown we are looking for a Creative Strategist to join the brand team here in the heart of Manchester! Within this role, you will be accountable for helping the Creative team think outside of the box when developing campaign and strategic storytelling initiatives, ensuring all new concepts are rooted in the tenants of our brand strategy. This is a full time position however we are open to considering applicants who are looking for the flexibility of a part time role too. ​​​​​​​


As a Creative Strategist you will:

  • Strategise new and innovative ways to rollout content and get eyes on our work.
  • Understands the landscape of our brands and stays abreast of trends and cultural movements.
  • Develops and conceptualises powerful creative concepts and approaches and is responsible for articulating these to wider stakeholders.
  • First class presentation skills even with senior stakeholders.
  • Lead blue sky thinking within the creative team.
  • Translates top line concepts to campaign ideas and is highly conceptual and commercially minded.
  • Develops a strong relationship with the Brand Strategy team to ensure all new creative concepts are rooted in the tenants of our brand strategy.
  • Ensure creative output is anchored in brand strategy.
  • Influences and excites the campaign team with new possibilities which help drive more powerful creative ideas.
  • Reacts positively to feedback.


What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Previous work experience within the creative industry in a fast-paced commercial environment.
  • A strong background in a strategy and/or creative strategy role is essential.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating innovation and blue sky thinking.
  • Can influence and excite without authority.
  • Proven experience of presenting, pitching or showcasing to senior stakeholders.
  • A degree in Marketing, Design, English, Media or a related subject would be desirable.
  • Agency experience is highly desirable.
