The Role and responsibilities​​​​​​​

We are looking for two people to join our Graphic Design team as Creative Design Assistants within our Brand and Creative department and they will be at the very heart of the team! They will be supporting the Graphic Design team with any digital graphic designs needed, including all sales and marketing materials. This role is based at our headquarters in the Northern Quarter. You will:

  • Be designing graphics that will be used across our websites, social media and email in line with our organisation’s branding guidelines.
  • Work together with the Creative team to generate new ideas, interpret design briefs and transform them into practical branded materials. 
  • Have the opportunity to think creatively and develop interactive designs!
  • Receive regular feedback on their graphics from team members so that you can learn and adapt them to meet the end goal
  • Support the team with general administration and learn the ins and outs of the job so that over time, you can develop into a Creative Designer in your own right.

What will you get?

  • You'll develop your technical skills though using digital platforms and software for example Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign as well as Microsoft, CSS/HTML, Dreamweaver/text editor and Monetate.

As well as this, you will have:

  • Regular meetings with your Manager.
  • Regular feedback on your work from colleagues so you can learn and adapt.

  • Training and development support from us and from the Prince's Trust, youth employability experts, to build your skills for the working world and your future!

What are we looking for?

Do you have a passion for fashion, retail and creative digital imagery? Do you consider yourself a creative thinker and always willing to learn? If so, then this could be the role for you. 

  • We’d love someone with a “can-do”, positive attitude that likes to work in a team and build relationships with people.
  • You should feel comfortable working under pressure at times and meet tight deadlines with the support of the team.
  • For experience and qualifications, you may have had work experience and/or academic knowledge of Art, Digital Art, Graphic Design or ICT.
  • It would be desirable for you to have any experience of digital platforms like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and/or InDesign. ​​​​​​​
