The Role and responsibilities

We are looking for two people to join our Artwork team as Digital Design Assistants. Managed by a Digital Design Lead, they will be at the very heart of the team! This role is based at our headquarters in the Northern Quarter. They will:

  • Be creating their own digital artwork and images that will be used across a variety of communications material for digital advertising, websites, social media, email and general Marketing projects across our brands. 
  • Learn how to prepare Artwork layouts which include: formatting text to “stylesheets”, templates that give a standard look to documents and prepare files for printers when needed.
  • Work on a variety of projects, for example; typography, re-touching designs, layouts and illustrations. 
  • Receive regular feedback on their work from colleagues so that they can learn and adapt their creations to meet the end goal.
  • Support the team with general administration and learn the ins and outs of the job so that over time, they can develop into a Digital Designer in their own right!​​​​​​​

What are we looking for?

Do you have a passion for fashion, retail and digital imagery? Do you consider yourself to be a creative thinker and willing to learn new things? If so, then this could be the role for you!

  • We’d love someone with a “can-do”, positive attitude that that likes to work in a team and build relationships.  
  • You should feel comfortable working under pressure at times and meet tight deadlines with the support of the team.
  • For experience and qualifications, you may have had work experience and/or academic knowledge of Art, Digital Art, Graphic Design or ICT. 
  • Basic experience of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and/or InDesign will be needed.
