The Role and responsibilities

We are building our exciting new home brand! Home Essentials will help customers make their dream rooms a reality, with modern, stylish and accessible products. Influencer Marketing is critical to our success as we work with leading influencers to showcase our range and inspire the nation to create their dream rooms. We’re looking for a Trainee Influencer Assistant to join the team and help to deliver this by helping us get the right product to the right influencers at the right time, supporting with the administration that makes this possible, whilst gaining exposure to how we create leading influencer content.  This role is based at our headquarters in the Northern Quarter. With the support of the Influencer Lead, they will:

  • Manage the day-to-day product process for influencer activity and product PR by working closely with the Product team. This includes following up regularly on our influencer product costs, updating the tracker and ensuring the influencer planning is accurate and up to date.
  • Work with an external agency through reporting on how campaigns and content is performing and engaged with by our customers.
  • Help communicate with influencers in-house and support them to create content
  • Connect our influencer content with social media, ensuring our content is widely used.

What are we looking for?

Do you have an interest in fashion, retail and influencer marketing? Do you consider yourself to be a creative thinker and always willing to learn more in the marketing world? If so, then this could be the role for you. 

  • We’d love someone with a “can-do”, positive attitude that has great written and verbal communication skills. 
  • You should enjoy working in a team environment and building relationships with people. 
  • For experience and qualifications, you may have had work experience and/or academic knowledge of Marketing, English, Media, Graphic Design or ICT. 
  • It would be advantageous to have working knowledge of social media platforms, including Facebook and Instagram.
