The Role and responsibilities

We are looking for someone to join our IT department (known as Digital Technology) as a Digital Technology Team Administrator and you’ll be at the very heart of the division. Reporting into the Executive Assistant to our Chief Information Officer, this role will be important in providing administration to support the smooth running of the whole department including Technology, Digital Product, Service and Security & Risk!  This role is based at our headquarters in the Northern Quarter. They will:

  • Support with organising and coordinating meetings with employees and external companies as well as supporting with the preparation beforehand (putting together documents and collating information) when needed.
  • Contact employees and external companies via email and Microsoft Teams and follow up with any outstanding actions, for example, chasing important signatures and documents.
  • Write and send engaging weekly and monthly newsletters and PowerPoints for departments, ensuring our employees are informed on important business updates as well as recognising and praising great work!
  • Learn how to complete basic documents relating to contracts.
  • Be a key point of contact for employees in Digital Technology.

What are we looking for?

Do you have an interest in learning more about administration to build key skills for your future? Do you consider yourself to be organised and efficient? If so, then this could be the role for you. 

  • We’d love someone with a “can-do”, positive attitude that likes to work in a team and build relationships with others. 
  • You should enjoy communicating with people (written and verbally). 
  • We're looking for someone that's not afraid to ask questions, try new challenges and work on a variety of tasks at any one time!
  • We're not looking for any specific knowledge or work experience for this role.
  • Basic computer skills and an understanding of Microsoft will be needed.
