Here at N Brown we are looking for a Test Analyst to join our engineering team! A part of our Mobile Tribe you will be working in a squad based Agile team and will be responsible for supporting the squad in the delivery of testing sprints/iterations/projects.

Your role as Test Analyst:

  • Responsible for testing within the different mobile squads through the Test lifecycle (SIT, UAT, Exploratory, Automation). Working within the Agile & Scrum ways of working ensuring releases continue to go smoothly.
  • Responsible for working on and maintaining the test approach and framework on projects and releases within the Tribe.
  • Ensuring that any risks regarding testing within the project and release portfolio are documented and highlighted to the relevant parties and taking ownership of those risks to an agreed resolution.
  • Help work across squads (iOS, Android, CMS) when needed and with the tech & test leads as well as product owners to ensure that releases are stable and consistent.
  • Supports and iterates Test Process Improvement, working with the Test Lead and Mobile Tech Leads.
  • Support the Test Lead with third-party companies. Ideally, managing the relationship and setting quality standards and arranging test cycles for any sprint release they are working on
  • To maintain and iterate on our regression pack

What experience are we looking for?

  • Hands on tester with at least some mobile experience.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing multiple test streams within a portfolio/set of releases.
  • Proven ability to define input to and understand test strategies and approaches that encompass the full testing life cycle.
  • Excellent understanding of the testing lifecycle, phase testing objectives, entry/exit acceptance criteria, Risk-based approaches to testing cycle definition.
  • Experience of Jira, Zephyr and other test tools.
  • Experience of Automation would be an advantage, ideally Espresso/XCUITest/Appium or equivalent.
