Sales Support Executive

The Role

We are looking for a Sales Support Executive to join our Glasgow based team. Our New Business Sales Team focus on managing all activity related to engaging with, and acquiring, new customers of our Applicant Tracking Software. This role will be focused on a wide range of administrative activities that free up the Sales Team members to be geared more proactively to engaging with prospective clients. 

The role will be focused on, but not limited to the following tasks: 

  • Manage and maintain the New Business team calendar; scheduling demonstrations / online meetings with existing sales contacts.  

  • Prepare and update sales support & proposal documentation. 

  • Complete the initial information for tender submissions. 

  • Manage and maintain information, including adding contacts and data and helping to set up the system for sales demonstrations. 

  • Liaise with the Technical team to ensure demo systems include all the latest functionality. 

  • Work with the Marketing team and support with the creation / execution of email marketing campaigns using HubSpot (our marketing database system).

Above all, we would need you to show a friendly, professional, and collaborative attitude. No day is likely to be the same and as such, you’ll need to be happy being busy and multi-tasking a range of different activities. We do not expect you to have used Jobtrain before when applying but we need you to be comfortable in learning about new technology.

If you are OK with finding your way round settings on an iPhone, creating a Spotify account, or managing the settings on your Sky TV; then we are confident that you will have the aptitude to learn how to use Jobtrain - it just takes a little time and we provide full support with this.

Additional Qualities We Are Looking For Are: 

  • Excellent organisation and time management skills with strong written skills and a keen eye for detail. 

  • A pro-active approach with the ability not just to see what is needed, but to plan ahead.  

  • Strong team orientation with a history of working collaboratively. 

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at once and prioritise activities. 

  • Knowledge of recruitment processes would be advantageous but not essential. 

  • Proficient IT skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and internet research.

Salary is £25,000 per annum.
