We are looking for someone who:
- Qualified and Experienced: Holds QTS/PGCE and has a proven record of successful teaching in a primary setting.
- High Expectations and Vision: Demonstrates high expectations for pupil achievement and personal growth, coupled with an enthusiastic, imaginative, and forward-thinking approach to education.
- Inspiring Communicator: Possesses the ability to inspire, motivate, and engage children to achieve their full potential.
- Collaborative: Capable of building positive relationships with children, staff, parents, and governors, along with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.

Leigh Academy Tree Tops is a happy, caring and vibrant school, located on the outskirts of Maidstone. We are set in magnificent grounds with ample space for both outdoor learning and play. Our thriving nursery is located on site and offers an excellent start for our children’s education. We have separate and spacious facilities for Early Years, KS1 and KS2.
We aim to give every child the very best start to their education through lively and engaging teaching using an exciting, broad and balanced curriculum. We want our children to enjoy a wide range of experiences which bring the curriculum to life and make learning active, meaningful and relevant. Our happy staff team works hard to ensure the best possible quality of education for the children in every class. By developing potential, drive and self-esteem we help everyone to become a unique, responsible, respectful, motivated and successful individual.
The academy is well equipped, having its own nursery, library, two halls, a childrens’ kitchen, a DT workshop and extensive outdoor areas including outdoor classrooms, a forest school area, a science garden and a separate sports field.

Being part of Leigh Academies Trust
As of 1st September 2024, our Trust comprises 33 geographically organised academies (17 secondaries, 14 primaries and 2 special) educating more than 24,000 students and employing 4,000 talented staff. Currently, 16 of our academies are considered to be “Outstanding” which is 53% of those which have been inspected whilst part of the Trust. The Trust is establishing three ‘clusters’ of academies: LAT Central; LAT West; LAT North. In addition, the Trust is responsible for one of the region’s biggest initial teaching training organisations, a large teaching school hub and is an accredited apprenticeship provider.
