Leigh Academy Oaks has a rare opportunity for a suitably qualified individual to join their friendly and collaborative team in the role of Early Years Assistant, starting as soon as possible. This role is offered on a permanent basis offering an actual salary of £19,282 per annum (£25,136 full time equivalent) based on 33 hours per week, Term Time + 1 week inset.
We are looking for someone demonstrates the following:
- A confident practitioner who is experienced with the Early Years Framework and Reception class in general
- Experience with phonics.
- Adaptable and collaborative team member who wants to be part of an outstanding team!
- A minimum of a relevant Level 3 qualification
- Being independent and able to work under pressure
- Excellent communicator at all levels
- Ability to organise own work and that of others, identify priorities and meet outcomes
- Lead by example, demonstrating high levels of drive, enthusiasm and passion with proven ability to motivate others
- Excellent written communication with ability to produce and evaluate reports
- Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding children
