Job Description
Leigh Academy Mascalls is looking for a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Maths to join our thriving department. As an academy that prides itself on "Character, Culture, and Academic Excellence," we provide a supportive environment where both students and staff are challenged to reach their full potential. Following our recent Ofsted inspection under the new framework, which has moved away from single-word overall effectiveness judgements to provide a more nuanced view of school life, we are proud of our continued commitment to high expectations, strong relationships and an inclusive culture which ensures every student has the support and opportunity to excel.
In this role, you will deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities for KS5 teaching for the right candidate. You will be a subject expert capable of fostering resilience and curiosity in students of all abilities, ensuring they develop the mathematical fluency needed for their future careers. As part of the Leigh Academies Trust, you will benefit from a highly collaborative network, modern classroom facilities, and industry-leading professional development. We are seeking an innovative educator who is eager to contribute to our ambitious curriculum and work within a team that values staff well-being and professional autonomy. If you are ready to make a significant impact within a school that is moving forward with confidence under the latest national standards, we encourage you to apply and become a key part of our success story.
