Leigh Academy High Halstow is thrilled to announce the opening of our new nursery and is looking for a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the development and learning of our youngest learners in a vibrant, engaging environment as we launch this exciting new phase in our Early Years provision.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A passion for Early Years education and supporting with children, ideally in an EYFS setting, though training can be provided for the right candidate.
  • A nurturing and patient approach, with the ability to engage children and support their individual needs.
  • The ability to work as part of a team, supporting both the teacher and other teaching assistants to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
  • Our successful candidate will ideally have a relevant Level 3 childcare qualification.

The basis of this role is permanent, offering an actual salary £18,336 per annum (£24,404 full-time equivalent), based on working 32.5 hours per week, term time + 1 week inset.

We understand the need for flexibility and are pleased to consider part-time applicants for this role. While the daily hours are typically 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, we can also accommodate a mornings-only pattern or a working week of 2 or 3 days.
