Job Description
Are you passionate about caring for young children and helping them explore, learn, and grow? Leigh Academy Hundred of Hoo Nursery is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and caring Early Years Assistant to join our busy 2-3-year-old room. No formal qualification is necessary – just a genuine love of working with children and a desire to provide the very best care.
At our nursery, you’ll join a supportive, experienced, and fun team who are dedicated to creating a safe, stimulating, and welcoming environment for every child. We pride ourselves on our achievements and the exciting, nurturing spaces we offer our little learners.
Why you’ll love working with us:
Work with a highly experienced nursery team who have been part of our nursery family for over 20 years.
Enjoy fantastic outdoor spaces where children can explore and learn through play.
Be part of a vibrant school community with strong links to our primary and secondary sites.
Benefit from opportunities to develop your skills and gain additional qualifications if you wish.
Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Our nursery is open all year, with only three short closure periods: one week at Christmas and two weeks during the summer.
If you’re caring, reliable, and excited about making a difference to young children’s lives, we would love to hear from you!
This is a permanent, term time-only position, working 20 hours per week (12.00pm - 2.00pm) and offers an hourly rate of £12.21 (Level 3 qualified).
