Leigh Academy Minster are seeking to appoint a School Librarian who will be responsible for all aspects of library work. Amongst other duties, this includes supporting the school’s literacy focus, teaching library skills to pupils and overseeing the use, storage and security of library equipment. 

You should have strong interpersonal skills, as you’ll be working with teachers and TAs, school team members, parents and pupils.  We’re committed to building brighter futures, by improving educational experiences, and we’re hoping you’re excited to be part of that opportunity.No previous experience as a librarian is required.

This is a permanent role, working 37 hours per week, term time + 1 week of inset and offers an actual salary of £20,781 - £22,222 per annum (£24,294 - £25,979 full-time equivalent), based on experience.
