We know that exceptional Science Teachers are in high demand which is why we are offering a recruitment and retention bonus of £2,000 for the right candidate ( £1,000 payable upon joining, and £1,000 payable after 1 year's service).


About the role: Science at Mascalls is a thriving, dynamic and forward thinking department and due to recent expansion, we have a great opportunity for a Teacher of Science to join our collaborative team from January 2022. We pride ourselves on strong leadership, excellent outcomes and high expectations of all.


Our curriculum is engaging and structured to build, interleave and consolidate the skills needed to prepare students for success and for life! Our ideal candidate will have the drive to deliver outstanding results at A-Level and possibly have experience of running a Science related club.


This is a full time, permanent position offering Main Pay Scale commensurate with experience, plus a joining bonus for the right candidate.

Working with us at Mascalls Academy: Mascalls Academy is a secondary school at the heart of the community and our small school model ensures that each and every student gets the personal support and challenge they need to reach their full potential. The academy is divided into four colleges – Shackleton, Earhart, Luther King and Marie Curie Sixth Form College each having their own personality and range of specialisms, allowing them to be unique.
