Job Description

About the role: We are seeking to appoint an outstanding teacher or someone with the potential to become one who can deliver high quality learning opportunities for our students in Physical Education lessons and also the school’s extra-curricular programme.

This represents an outstanding opportunity for a motivated and dynamic individual to contribute to the success of a thriving department. The ability to coach Rugby and/ or Cricket to a high level is an essential requirement.

The successful candidate will join a busy and highly effective PE department, with teamwork at the heart of its success. The department is currently made up of eight members of staff, including a PE technician, plus additional coaches in rugby, hockey, cricket and netball. The department runs an extensive Saturday morning fixture list and the candidate will be expected to play a full and active role in this. The department runs overseas tours in the 3 major sports, the senior rugby sides tour Canada, the hockey sides go to Barcelona and the cricket teams tour Barbados.​​​​​​
