About the role: Effective administrative support and governance are essential to the success of our Trust, and our team of PAs are crucial in ensuring the Executive Team and Directors can efficiently fulfil their positions. Leigh Academies Trust is a multi-academy trust (MAT) which comprises of primary, secondary and special needs academies across South East London and Kent, educating over 15,000 students on a daily basis.

We have an exciting new vacancy for a Governance Clerk to join us as soon as possible. The successful candidate must be able to work to a highly professional and organised standard. The successful applicant will also have a genuine interest in school governance, ensuring they keep abreast with current educational developments and legislation affecting schools.

  • Able to demonstrate integrity in all that they do

This role offers £30 per hour and the hours will be agreed in advance.




Being part of Leigh Academies Trust: As of 1st September 2021, our Trust comprises 31 geographically organised academies (15 secondaries, 14 primaries and 2 special) educating 20,000 students, and employing over 2,500 talented staff.
