Job Description

About role: The Hundred of Hoo Academy are seeking to appoint an Inclusion Manager, joining our team from May 2022. Our successful candidate will be passionate about working with students, playing a pivotal role working across the academy to: 

  • To supervise and coordinate the implementation and delivery of the Academy’s Isolation Unit called the Learning Support Unit (LSU) as part of the Academy’s Behaviour Management system. 
  • To educate, practice and provide feedback and strategies on positive attitudes and social skills. 
  • To promote the importance of inclusion not exclusion with students. 
  • Supervise and control young people within Isolation, ensuring pupils are completing assigned work to a good standard and provide opportunities for pupils to reflect on their behaviour and attitudes. 

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​This is a permanent position offering an actual salary ranging from £20,513 - £26,001 per annum (£23,953 - £30,095 full time equivalent), commensurate with experience, based on 37 hours per week (8.00am - 4.00pm, with a 3.30pm finish on Wednesdays) and Term Time + 1 week inset. The salary will be discussed at point of offer based on experience and the scope that the successful candidate brings to the role.
