About the role: ​​​​​​​Leigh Academies Trust has a rare and exciting opportunity to appoint an experienced and efficient Finance Assistant to join our friendly and vibrant team. The overarching purpose of this role is to provide a comprehensive financial support service to the Finance Manager and Finance Officers. We are looking for someone that can demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, excellent prioritisation and also accuracy and attention to detail. Our successful candidate will benefit from being part of our highly collaborative team!

Please note: This is a busy position and our successful candidate will be required to travel across 2 sites on a weekly basis as they will support Strood Academy and Wilmington Academy. Therefore, applicants must have a driving licence.

The working basis of this role is 37 hours per week during Term Time plus 3 weeks inset. You will be reporting into a highly experienced Finance Manager, and our successful candidate should be able to hit the ground running with a 'can-do' attitude. This is a permanent position offering an actual salary of £19,689 per annum (£21,775 full time equivalent).
