Job Description

About the role: Leigh Academies Trust are excited to announce a fantastic Foreign Language Assistant - Spanish vacancy; this is a great opportunity for a talented individual who can speak Spanish to add further capacity to our central MFL Curriculum Team.

The Foreign Language Assistant will be required to work with individuals and small groups of GCSE students, ensuring that they are exposed to a high quality of spoken and written language. This position is ideal for those seeking to embark on teacher training as this role offers first-hand experience and exposure to the modern foreign languages curriculum, classroom teaching and the opportunity of working directly with our teaching staff, or those seeking a consistent part-time role to fit around other commitments.

Our successful candidate will work across 2 secondary academies within Leigh Academies Trust: Longfield Academy and The Hundred of Hoo Academy. You will be working over 2 days per week (7 hours per day). Please be aware that this may involve travelling to other academies across the Trust. This is a fixed term opportunity for 1 academic year in the first instance. If you have any questions or would like to find out more, please contact Holly Neve (Recruitment Coordinator) on holly.neve@latrust.org.uk or 01634 412 263.

Please note: the successful candidate must have access to their own car as travel between sites is expected (this will be reimbursed in line with LAT's expenses policy).
