About the role:  Are you an experienced Science Technician working with industry or within an education environment, and are seeking progression in our career?  If so, we have the ideal opportunity for you.  The Leigh Academy are looking to appoint a suitably experienced Senior Science Technician to join and lead a well-motivated and successful team within the Science Learning Area, ideal for someone looking for a term-time position with plenty of scope for development.  We require applicants to have a minimum qualification of an A Level in science or equivalent, and/or appropriate industry experience (Chemistry and Physics in particular would be advantageous). 

The working basis offered is 5 days per week during Term Time plus one additional week of inset.  For the right candidate, we have flexibility to offer 4 days per week if required.  The remuneration associated with this role is Scale G20-G24 £21,850 – £24,861 full time equivalent which will be pro-rated to reflect the working pattern.
