About the role: The Leigh Academy have an opportunity for a Technician of D&T to join us in early November 2017 and strengthen our highly successful department further. Playing a pivotal role in the organisation and support to our teachers and leaders of this faculty, our successful candidate will be knowledgeable about their subject area, professional and motivated. Applicants should have a minimum qualification of an A Level in a Design & Technology remit, or appropriate industry experience.
The working basis of this role is 21 hours per week during Term Time, plus 1 week inset. The full time equivalent salary is Scale E Point 14 £18,291 with a pro rata value of £8,785 per annum. Overtime is available for the successful candidate and can be discussed at interview; this is paid on a hourly rate of £9.51.
