About the role: Strood Academy are seeking to appoint a Faculty Assistant for PE and Performing Arts who will be responsible for supporting the work of the Faculty Leader and to provide cover supervision across the academy, working with groups of students and administrative work within the faculty. This role is ideal for a graduate who is confident and knowledgeable within this subject specialism and who thrives on responsibility as this role is key in the successful operation of the department, expanding their current knowledge of the wider PE and Performing Arts remit.
The working basis is 32.5 hours per week during Term Time with an extra two weeks during the year. The actual salary, dependent on experience, is between £14,532 - £18,798 which is pro rated from £19,171 - £24,799.
