Horsmonden Primary Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and proactive Premises Assistant to join our friendly school site team. The successful applicant will be responsible for the day to day care of the school premises and grounds whilst ensuring high standards of cleaning by the cleaning team and security of the buildings.
Applicants will need a flexible approach to working hours and duties very occasionally. You should be trustworthy, reliable, hard-working, conscientious and be able to work independently or as part of a team. You will have a general knowledge of Health & Safety, basic IT skills, a good understanding of Safeguarding, be able to undertake basic maintenance tasks, and be responsible for the security of the building whilst on duty. The working basis is negotiable; we can offer the position on a basis of 7-8 hours per day as a split shift, or as a part-time opportunity for more than one member of staff. Working for Horsmonden Primary Academy: Horsmonden Primary Academy, located on the outskirts of Maidstone, is set in a thriving and popular rural village with a strong community feel. The school has been on this site since 1969 and has been extended and improved several times. As well as ample teaching space, there is a newly re-developed library, extensive grounds and quality outdoor play equipment.
