About the role: Snowfields Academy has a fantastic opportunity for a committed and motivated Premises Operative to join our new and collaborative team from September 2021. This part-time position will assist the wider Site Team with the care of the academy premises, ranging from general maintenance duties including minor repair and refurbishment works, porterage and other duties, supporting the Estates Manager in ensuring the health and safety and security of two busy academies. We offer 25 days’ holiday per annum (plus bank holidays) which increases based on length of service. Applicants will need a flexible approach to working hours and duties, and may be required to cover the duties of other team members in their absence, occasionally.

Applicants need to be trustworthy, reliable, hardworking, physically fit, conscientious and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. The successful candidate will be joining a new but experienced team, who have been given this wonderful opportunity to manage 2 newly built academies; Snowfields Academy and Bearsted Primary Academy. Each year the academies will grow with more children joining us and we are looking for someone that will support both academies in the role of Premises Operative.

The hours will be on a weekly shift rota 7am-1.30pm and 12.pm-6.30pm.
