Peninsula East Primary Academy has a brand new opportunity to appoint a Receptionist/Administrator Apprentice to join us in January 2022. Our successful candidate will be pivotal to the smooth running of the school office - you’ll be the first point of contact for many members of the school and external stakeholders, and will be able to turn your hand to any admin-related task that is required. Our new team member will have a 'can-do' attitude and a passion to work within the education sector.

This role is offered as a 12-18-month apprenticeship contract and our successful candidate will work towards a nationally-recognised Level 3 Business Administration qualification, delivered by LAT Apprenticeships. Click here to read more about LAT Apprenticeships.  

Apprenticeship Summary
Annual wage: £10,000 per annum
Working weeks:  Monday - Friday throughout the full year
Total hours per week : 37 hours per week (including the 20% training element of the Apprenticeship Programme)
Holiday Allowance: 25 days per annum plus bank holidays 
Apprenticeship duration:  12-18 months
Programme delivery type:  All modules are delivered as online learning which can be completed at your place of work
Start date: January 2022 
Apprenticeship level:  Advanced Level Apprenticeship (Level 3)
Apprenticeship standard:  Business & Administration
Essential entry qualifications: GCSEs A* - C, Maths and English


Future prospects:  This apprenticeship could be the start of a very promising and career within the wider business and administration remit. We endeavour to offer further employment following successful performance and completion of the Level 3 course with future opportunities to extend your training with a higher level apprenticeship programme. We offer in-house Continuing Professional Development and you’ll be part of a highly experienced and efficient office team – you’ll be learning from the very best!

Please be aware that whilst the closing date is Monday 10th January 2022, we are interviewing on a rolling basis dependent on the quantity and quality of applications received. Therefore, interviews can take place before the Christmas break.
