About the role: We have a great opportunity to join a highly effective, high performing Science Department at The Hundred of Hoo Academy. This high performing team are often drivers to whole Academy improvement. We are looking for talented and passionate Teacher of Science, who truly wishes to inspire our pupils.

Working with our academy: The Hundred of Hoo Academy is a secondary school at the heart of the community and our small school model ensures that each and every student gets the personal support and challenge they need to reach their full potential. The academy is divided into three colleges – Athena, Forseti and Neptune each having their own personality and range of specialisms, allowing them to be unique.

The Hundred of Hoo Academy is a high achieving institution. Our last Ofsted inspection notes “Leaders’ clear determination and unwaveringly high expectations ensure a culture of continual improvement.”, that Hundred of Hoo’s “well-established learning routines support teachers’ high expectations for pupils’ conduct and engagement with their learning”. We were graded a ‘Good’ school with ‘Outstanding’ leadership and behaviour and it is our vision to become ‘Outstanding’ in every category.
