The working basis is 32.5 hours per week during Term Time with an extra two weeks during the year.
Strood Academy are seeking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant who will join us in the role of Return to Learning Centre Coordinator, located on the main school site but separate to the main building itself. Our successful candidate will lead interventions of small groups of students, both outside and within mainstream lessons, as part of a rolling one week programme of study. The students attending will be carefully chosen to ensure a positive working atmosphere and will engage in programme of literacy, numeracy and SEAL activities for three days before beginning transitions back to mainstream lesson.
