We are looking for a Visual Arts Technician to join the academy to support the teaching and learning of students within the performing arts and media department. Our successful candidate will be creative and enthusiastic, and it’s an ideal role for current Post 16 students who would like first-hand experience in a paid position within the Arts remit. We can offer approximately 900 hours of paid work over the course of the contract which works out as an average of 23 hours per week during Term Time.

Longfield Academy are seeking to appoint Cover Supervisors to join and expand their dedicated team from September 2018 who provide full support to the staff and students. The successful candidates will ensure the good behaviour of our students and to ensure students engage in their learning during short-term absence of Teachers. Cover work will be supplied wherever possible for you to use as a basis for the lessons and we will also determine your subject specialisms with you as a preference. Excellent inter-personal skills are required for this post as our successful candidates needs to demonstrate that they can build good rapport with staff and students alike.
