Are you passionate about improving outcomes for vulnerable children and young people?

The Early Intervention Foundation (EIF) is dynamic and ambitious charity established to champion and support the use of effective early intervention to improve the lives of children and young people at risk of experiencing poor outcomes.  As a member of the government’s What Works Network, we have a pivotal role as the go-to source for evidence and advice on effective early intervention for children and young people.

We are looking for an impact and evaluation adviser to help us ensure that EIF evidence is used to inform local investment and practice decisions.  Working with colleagues across the organisation, you will ensure that an understanding of local systems and the needs of local audiences is embedded into our work from the outset.  You will also work with local places to support the use of evidence in decision making relating to early intervention.  This might be indirectly through producing accessible advice and tools aimed at local decision makers, or directly, including through evaluation support.

Committed to the potential of evidence-informed decision-making to improve outcomes for children and young people you will be grounded in an understanding of the local delivery environment for children and family services. You will also have practical experience of conducting evaluations and carrying out qualitative research.  You will be confident in communicating complex research in a way that is accessible to local audiences. Above all, you will be passionate and committed to improving the lives of vulnerable children and families, flexible, and a strong team-player.

Our people are at the heart of everything we do at EIF.  It’s vital that our workforce reflects the diversity of our stakeholders and the wider society in the UK, so we’re proud to be an equal opportunities employer and we actively seek candidates from diverse backgrounds and communities.  We also recognise the importance of a good work life balance, so we do everything we can to accommodate flexible working, including part-time and job shares for our roles.
