The LGA is the national membership body for local authorities and we need someone who is passionate local government and supporting our staff to use IT. We are a politically led, cross-party organisation that works on behalf of councils to ensure local government has a strong, credible voice with national government. We aim to influence and set the political agenda on the issues that matter to councils, so they are able to deliver local solutions to national problems.
About the role
We are looking for a multi-talented individual to join the IT and Business Management team who can lead on all aspects of our Microsoft Dynamics CRM and SharePoint systems and are seeking to making a difference in a fast-paced organisation.
The role involves building relationships across the organisation and liaising with external developers to train business users, troubleshoot issues and develop the systems to ensure that it meets the LGA business requirements.
The successful candidate will have in-depth technical experience of working with Dynamics CRM. You should have experience of working in a front facing role supporting and training business users as well as working with third parties to develop and deliver system improvements. A flair for team working and managing a workload will be keys to your success and you will have exceptional skills in relationship building and influencing skills.
You must have the right to work in the UK, the LGA are unfortunately unable to offer sponsorship visas. Evidence for the right to work in the UK will be requested at the interview stage.
