The role
Are you looking to start your Finance career in a progressive, changing organisation? We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is committed to and wants to make a real contribution to the team and deliver an efficient customer focused service.
The successful candidate will be responsible for activities in and be part of the finance transaction team, a key part of the overall Finance delivery that, alongside our HR team, provides corporate and management accounting information for four Group companies and four other companies. You will receive exposure and training in the use of our finance system, Agresso, which is used to pay suppliers and invoice customers, extending this to banking and debt collection.
The requirements
You will be focused on the detail, well organised, and committed to providing a timely and efficient response as well as continuously looking for ways of improving systems and processes, therefore someone with a can-do attitude is essential.
You must have the right to work in the UK, the LGA are unfortunately unable to offer sponsorship visas. Evidence for the right to work in the UK will be requested at the interview stage.
