The post

The pension team has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic pensions professional reporting to the pensions manager. 

You will be a key member of a team delivering an efficient and effective service that is fully compliant with all statutory requirements and financial regulations. 

You will be part of a team that provides a positive customer focused pension service for scheme members and employers and your contribution will ensure that complex case work is dealt with in a timely, accurate and professional manner.

The person

You will have a substantial knowledge of the local government and teachers’ pension schemes’ processes and regulations, a good understanding of social security and data protection legislation, and significant experience of pensions administration, payroll or similar database systems.

You will be a well organised person with good problem-solving skills, able to work effectively on your own initiative and a team player with strong inter-personal skills.
