Do you have a passion for campaigning? Do you want to be part of a team delivering national campaigns impacting on every resident in the country? Can you bring fresh ideas and experience of delivering successful campaigns?

If so, we’re looking for a Marketing Content Manager to join the Local Government Association (LGA)'s in-house team. Based in our communications directorate, this is a fantastic opportunity for anyone with experience of planning and executing successful campaigns to lead a great team working to deliver a range of exciting and dynamic national campaigns influencing Westminster, Whitehall and beyond.

You should have strong personal and organisational skills, an ability to build relationships in a complex political environment, an understanding of the main issues facing local government and a passion for delivering the best possible service internally and to our member authorities.
 
We are looking for someone with strong strategic skills, excellent management experience and an enthusiasm for bringing fresh ideas to a number of national projects in a fast-paced environment. You will also be able to demonstrate experience of working closely with designers and managing print processes to ensure marketing materials are delivered to a high standard.

The Campaigns and Marketing Team has a proven track record of delivering exciting and influential wide-reaching campaigns and as the main representatives of local government across the country, there has never been a more exciting time to work for the LGA.

The LGA's registered and primary place of work is Local Government House, Smith Square. Due to the refurbishment of this building the LGA will be at Layden House, Farringdon (zone 1) for a period of up to 12 months from November 2016.
